About

Hello, my name is Monique Kaur Kellay and I am a participatory artist, educator and creative producer. Since 2019, I have been working with families, early years children and young people to create more inclusive and fun cultural institutions.

My practice focuses on learning through making.

I have a deep interest in how things are made across different cultures and communities looking at craft practices and their applications throughout the world and sharing these approaches with new audiences.

I have worked with Tate Modern, Tate Britain, Young V&A, London Transport Museum, Royal Museums Greenwich, Camden Arts Centre, ACAVA, BLAM, Watermans Arts Centre and The Floating Classroom.

I champion process, play, and experimentation as powerful tools for building creative confidence.
